Privacy policy

Last updated: 12 October 2026

Six Thirty is a New Zealand based business. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why, and who sees it. We follow the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020. If you live in the EU or UK, the GDPR gives you the extra rights below.

What we collect

  • Your name, email, phone number and addresses when you order, and anything you send us in a message
  • What you buy, return or ask about
  • Your device, browser, IP address and browsing activity, through cookies and similar tools

Our payment providers handle payments. We never see or store your full card number.

How we use it

  • To process, ship and support your order, including returns and warranty claims
  • To reply to your messages
  • To send marketing emails if you sign up. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
  • To keep the store secure, prevent fraud, and see how the site is used so we can improve it
  • To meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations

Who we share it with
Each of these gets only what it needs to do its job:

  • Shopify, which runs our store and checkout
  • Payment providers
  • Our fulfilment partner and couriers, who need your name, address and phone number to deliver your order
  • The email, analytics and advertising tools we use to run the store
  • Authorities, when the law requires it

Some of these are based outside New Zealand, so your information may be stored or processed overseas. We only use providers that protect it to standards comparable to New Zealand law. For EU and UK customers, we rely on approved safeguards such as standard contractual clauses. We never sell your personal information.

Cookies
Cookies keep your cart working, remember your preferences and help us measure how the site is used. You can block or delete them in your browser, though parts of the store may stop working.

How long we keep it
We keep your information as long as we need it for your order and warranty, and to meet tax rules. In New Zealand, that means keeping order records for seven years. After that, we delete or anonymise it.

Your rights
You can ask to see the information we hold about you and to correct it. In the EU or UK, you can also ask us to delete it, limit how we use it, or send you a copy. Send us a message and we’ll respond within 20 working days.

If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your information, please tell us first. You can also complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner (privacy.org.nz) or your local data protection authority.

Shopify
Shopify may also use information about your visit for its own services. See the Shopify Consumer Privacy Policy and the Shopify Privacy Portal.

Children
Our products aren’t for children, and we don’t knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.

Changes and contact
If we update this policy, we’ll post the new version here with a new date. Questions? Send us a message.
